Education

Dr. Sunil Rajendran did his MBBS form Calicut Medical College and MS in General Surgery in 2002. He cleared DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in 2005. He did his Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Vascular Surgery from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences (SCTIMST), Trivandrum in 2005. He was admitted as Member of National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS), New Delhi in 2005 and as Member of Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) of Edinburgh, UK in 2006.

Training

Did further training in Vascular Surgery at various hospitals of international repute.
2006: Advanced training in vascular surgery at St.Mary’s Hospital, London, UK 2008: Vascular surgery training at Augusta Hospital, Dusseldorf, Germany.
2009: St. James’s hospital, Dublin, Ireland as a part of Endovascular Fellowship of Vascular Society of India.
2012: Training in Deep venous intervention at Rane centre for venous & lymphatic diseases, Jackson, USA. Vascular training at Mayo Clinic, USA
2014: Training programme in technique of sub-intimal angioplasty at Leicester Royal Infirmary, UK.

Experience

Had been in Vascular Surgery practice since 2006 and had been Consultant in Vascular Surgery at Aster MIMS, Kozhikode till December 2009. Presently also works as Senior visiting consultant at Aster MIMS.
He had been working as faculty in surgery and Consultant in Vascular Surgery at MES Medical College, Perinthalmanna, Kerala from August 2008at MES medical college.
He also works as Sr.Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Starcare Hospital, Kozhikode and PVS hospital, Kozhikode.

He has extensive experience in dealing with all types of Vascular Surgical Problems. His areas of interest being, Limb salvage surgery, Infra-popliteal angioplasty, Venous interventions & AV access surgeries. He has been faculty at the meetings of Vascular Society of India (VSI) meetings from 2009, Venous association of India (VAI) from 2010 and also at various meeting of Association of Surgeons (ASI).

Dr. Saji Varghese has more than 10 years experience in field of General, Vascular and Laparoscopic Surgery. He has worked with eminent vascular surgeons like Prof. R. Karthikeyan and Dr. C.C.Suresh. He has vast experience in all types of General and Laparoscopic procedures. His special areas of interest include treatment of varicose veins and management of diabetic foot. He has extensive experience in minimally invasive endovenous laser treatment of varicose veins. He is actively involved in post graduate teaching programme in the speciality and is a very friendly, God fearing person. Presently he is a senior consultant surgeon at Starcare hospital, Kozhikode.
